We have found out that every pool has different rules regarding floaties and toys that can and can't be in the water. This pool doesn't allow any floating toys, not even bubbles, or water wings. Weird, but they do provide life vests for the kids to wear. The pool on Camp Foster allows water wings/bubbles for the arms but does not allow plastic rings or Mackenzie's duck. The pool in Hawaii required that all kids have on water wings/bubbles on their arms to get in the pool. CRAZY!!! At least we are flexible, right?
I couldn't believe the lifeguard told us Cooper and Mackenzie could go down the water slide and I was even more shocked that Mackenzie spent the next 1.5 hours climbing to the top and going down the slide by herself! My little dare devil! She really has no fear and is so athletic already. The life guards told us we couldn't go down the slide with them, but we could catch them at the end. She LOVED it! Cooper went down once because Mitch put him down it and he hated it. Oh well, it took him longer to enjoy going on swings and slides too.
This photo shows Mackenzie at the top of the slide waiting for her turn. The lifeguard is the tall guy who did a great job of telling us below when she was coming down.
Sweet Mackenzie slipped walking to the water slide and scratched her cheek! She is one tough cookie and only cried because we wouldn't let her go back down the slide.
